What's our Shtick?

It all started with my mother-in-law...

"This should be simple," I said as I walked into the mall looking for a gift for my mother-in-law. Not to kvetch, but have you ever gone shopping for your Jewish mother-in-law?

According to Google, the search term "Jewish Gifts" gets thousands of hits monthly. According to me, none of those gifts were good enough. I was working in the tea industry at the time so I decided to make something unique, original, and funny. I designed the first tin of what is now Mazel Tea, and started asking friends and family what they thought - that's when it happened.

Everyone wanted one, and I started taking names.

Watching our tea bring joy to the community has been an incredible part of the journey. While we put our tucheses to work in continuing to expand the Mazel Tea line, promoting yiddish language and culture in a fun and light-hearted way is naturally at the core of what we do.
